The history of the Andaman Islands In most cases, we research the local history before going to a location for the first time. It contributes to our better understanding of the people and the setting. The excursion to the Andaman Islands was not an exception. In the course of researching the history of the location, I came across a few facts that were rather fascinating. Everyone is aware of the fact that Andaman Tour Package was used by the British as a prison colony during the colonial era; yet, it seems that the area has historical documentation that predates this time period. It is not known for certain when the first people arrived to this cluster of islands and made their homes there. The number of attractions that can be seen in Andaman is rather extensive, but every one of them is worthy of your time and attention. We will begin with the more typical locations, and then go on to the more out-of-the-way ones.  Port Blair The city of Port Blair serves as the administrative center of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. In addition to being the most populous town, it serves as the primary port of entry for all of the other islands. Therefore, it is quite likely that your journey will begin at this location. Before an earthquake in 1941, this island served as the capital of Andaman Tour Package. However, the island was obliterated by the natural disaster. For close to eighty years, the Indian Penal Settlement’s administrative offices were located on Ross Island. The island had establishments such as bakeries, bakeries, stores, workshops, a distillery for water, churches, tennis courts, printing presses, secretariats, hospitals, cemeteries, and open-air theaters, among other amenities. Today, everything has disappeared except some old dilapidated buildings, which housed some of these landmarks.
