  1. If you're into Blackjack and you've learned a few card counting tricks, you might be wondering where your hard-earned skills still work. With all the changes casinos make to games, it can feel like they're trying to take the edge away. The good news is, there are still some versions of Blackjack where counting cards can give you a better chance of winning. This quick blackjack guide will walk you through a few of the top variants where your strategy can still pay off. One of the best choices for card counters is traditional Blackjack with fewer decks. Look for tables that use just one or two decks instead of six or eight. The fewer the decks, the easier it is to keep track of cards that have been played. These tables might be a little tougher to find, but they’re usually worth the effort for someone who knows how to count. Spanish 21 is another fun variant where strategy can work, but there’s a twist. While the game removes all the 10 cards (not Jacks, Queens, or Kings—just the 10s), it adds a bunch of rules that help the player, like paying extra for certain hands and letting you re-split Aces. Card counting still helps here, but you'll need to adjust your system a bit since the deck is different. Blackjack Switch is a unique option too. In this version, you’re dealt two hands and can “switch” cards between them. This can lead to better hands more often. The game changes things up by paying even money on a Blackjack, which isn’t ideal. Still, smart players who count cards and adjust their choices might find ways to get an edge. Double Exposure Blackjack could also be worth a look, especially for more experienced counters. In this version, both the dealer's cards are face up, which gives players more information to work with. The catch is, Blackjacks only pay even money, and the dealer wins all ties (except for Blackjack ties). Still, the extra info can be helpful if you’re sharp on strategy. If you’re serious about card counting, the key is to find games that don’t use too many decks and don’t shuffle too often. Keep an eye on rule changes, and choose tables where your skill still matters. Good luck, and have fun at the tables!
