This philosophy inspired Bev to take action and launch her platform. As we speak, the platform is growing and now you can also be a part of it. As an entrepreneur, Bev has been involved in a serious business ventures and her experience applies to all of her work and what she is trying to achieve. Because of the choices she made, Bev has vast experience, she is focusing on touching as many lives as possible. Bev is a philanthropist. She invests time, money, and energy in causes that resonate with her values. There have been numerous projects where Bev has left her fingerprint. Bev believes in the power of doing. Don't promise, prove! THE OUTSET OF HER JOURNEY Bev grew up in South Carolina and has been in Charlotte for over 4 years now. Her guiding light is kindness. She believes that every person must be kind to their fellow human beings. Even as a young adult, she was spontaneous and ready to take up challenges. She started with coaching. Bev would help out the children in their neighborhood. If they needed scholarships for school or tutoring to get better grades a test, she would always be happy to help. She would boost their self-esteem and watch over them like a second mom, and she would help them through their teenage years and act as a mentor. She moved to Charlotte, considering it as an opportunity to grow, experiment and diversify. Bev has always had entrepreneurial instincts. She has always been inclined towards doing/creating something impactful, something that helps the people. During the pandemic, she witnessed the plight of numerous businesses and how entrepreneurs were struggling with their respective market sectors. Her primary intuition was to create something that would develop an outreach. Since the start of her platform in 2020, Bev has created a safe space for lifting people, networking, and boosting careers. A hub is now live where everybody can find resources in a time of need. Bev has always been ready for any challenge and she has always tried something new by experimenting and opening new doors.

She wants to bring unity and bring people together, to make this place a better world. Being an entrepreneur for so many years helped her to identify her real purpose. She realized that her forte was communicated. She started her agency knowing that she was going to connect people and the knowledge she had acquired over the years, leverage it to the benefit of others and make a difference in the world. She was urged by many celebrities to move forward and open up an agency because that was what she had been doing for them. She was made to realize that she was helping talent and helping talent grow by making it available to those who wanted it. His death created such a strong impact on her life which made her realize that her purpose was to bring people together. She has had republicans, democrats, rich people and many others, and nobody knows who's who, yet everyone gets along so well. It shoves any kind of negativity and bad nature and promotes a happier and healthier environment and society. Her latest work where she serves as the executive producer is Inherit the Land. This premieres on October 16 in Monroe, NC. Bev is the executive producer of the upcoming film, Laura. The movie will hit the screens in 2021 itself. It revolves around the story of Tom Dooley, and the mystery surrounding the murder of Laura Foster told from Laura's perspective over the last week of her life. Th Being an exceptionally talented individual, Bev has diversified her scopes in various fields and excels in each due to her utmost dedication and commitment to her work. WORLDWIDE UNITED A shining star, Bev, is one of those few people who hold compassion and love for those who are underprivileged. She started her charity, Worldwide United, upholding her principles of strength in unity. The charity is very close to her heart. The charity commenced operations in Nigeria with over 200 children and she has been working with a vision to help those who are deprived of the basic amenities in life. Worldwide United will be spreading its arms and touching other developing nations and consistently contribute to humanitarian causes and uplift those who are suffering. BEV AT HOME She is an animal person, and she has been one since a very young age. She had a horse, chickens, dogs, and cats, and now she has two cats and two dogs.   18. As a woman, how important do you think it is to find a balance between your life at home and the one at work? when we least think all the time we are working and we lose balance. I recommend that they always be themselves, that they never want to impress a man and show that they know more than they do, they must be treated with respect and never persuade that they are a threat on the contrary that they know that they come to add. Fining balance not only does make you healthier, your life also has a better quality with you and your love ones. My phrase that although I say it a lot I have to practice it more is, put your head where your body is! I hope this phrase works for you. This is the most dear wish for all of us who are entrepreneurs, it is definitely a must but you have to practice it every day. This will make them not feel threatened at any time, because in reality although we are the most emotional women and they are more mental, we come to complement each other and when the men who still have their dominated attitude see that we women are not interested in competing above a gender, you will earn the respect of them and some times of the same women with whom you work or socialize, because many times the worst enemy of a woman can by other woman. For me the balance comes first internally from there everything starts! When I manage to control the thoughts that then win over us the desire that everything is urgent and suddenly you stop and say, what is really more important than me? It is when you take that time for yourself and cultivate your spirit, your soul, your mind, your body and there you enter the true balance. The rest must be a consequence of what I just said. We live in a world that is dominated by masculinity. What is your advice to women entrepreneurs across the world? I can recommend what works for me and that I have not had any problem with dominated masculinity men and I share it with great pleasure, although I believe that we already live in a more globalized world and with more gender equality, but I know that there will always be a man who does not likes that the woman shines more than them, but here you already enter issues of insecurity and that is another subject. So when you walk feel and be confident we are here to share our talents to the world and to give and receive respect. It is important to identify when it is work and passion because many of us make the mistake of saying that we are passionate about what we do and our passion becomes our day and night, 22

  24. Cindy Maram I back in 2008 after being inspired by working in the corporate marketing and publishing industries. Having a university and graduate school background in communications marketing, film and writing, as well as possessing the skills and resources to launch my own website and subsequent business made it a natural fit. founded my entertainment and arts digital publication, Dig IN Magazine (www.diginmag.com), working with on various projects and film events. Business is my playground. I am a creative person at heart and having the opportunities and resources to channel my creative energy into creating and developing unique, new business ideas, while being on the forefront of new trends, is exciting. I'm inspired by innovative thought and business leaders that continue to push themselves and others forward to better, not only themselves, but those around them—and in turn, help society to view things in another light. We all come from various backgrounds, so I believe showing others varying points of views through our voices, art and business platforms is key to a more understanding, open and compassionate world. A few years ago, I began producing independent films and founded IN Close Entertainment (www.incloseentertainment.com), a creative and production agency, in which I am also the CEO. We finance and produce film projects while working alongside other production companies and filmmakers. We also design public relations and marketing communications campaigns for movies and talent. Because I grew up in Los Angeles with many of my close friends who were actors and athletes enabled me to easily conduct talent interviews and create interesting content to develop a platform that was relevant in film and fashion. A few years after founding the publication, online publishing was growing in popularity and I began receiving invites to interview A-List celebrities and other key talent at prominent film festivals, fashion week and other big events. Founding Dig IN granted me access to events that were industry networking hubs, so I naturally met many like-minded people who became friends, which I ended up Currently, IN Close Entertainment is the 44th Mill Valley Film Festival Circle Sponsor of the HBO Max feature film, 'Women Is Losers' (the Bay Area premiere will take place on October 8th) that will be released and streamed exclusively on the platform October 18th. And Dig IN Magazine has been serving as media for the festival for the last 10 years and is a Promotional Partner of this important A-List celebrity event, which takes place annually in the Bay Area. How does your company uphold its uniqueness and individuality? I am constantly conducting research on new trends and happenings in the film, fashion and art industries. Being a close part of these communities filled with creative people who are original and unique, encourages me to uphold my new and innovative ideas, which are revealed through the companies that I've founded, as well as the organizations that we partner with. What motivates and inspires you as a young entrepreneur? 29

Dig IN Magazine is an accredited member of the media for the Academy Awards, Cannes Film Festival in the South of France and Sundance Film Festival. We have also served as a Promotional Partner of the Mill Valley Film Festival for 5 years. IN Close Entertainment was an accredited Gold Industry Delegate for the prestigious 78th Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy as we participated in the Venice Production Bridge. As a feature film producer, I worked as an Associate Producer on the SXSW 2021 hit movie, 'Women Is Losers' and also as a Producer and Publicist for the award-winning short film, 'I Am Normal.' I am also a distinguished member of Women in Film San Francisco Bay Area. The pandemic turned the tables for every sector of the economy, tell us something about your market and its scope for growth. For myself as an entrepreneur, the pandemic and economy did not have a huge effect as we are primarily online. But what used to be predominantly in- person meetings evolved into virtual Zoom meetings. For Dig IN, the on- site/in-person talent interviews I used to do became Zoom or Instagram Live livestream videos. But something positive that came out of our world's “shift to virtual' (which was actually the title of a panel that I designed and moderated at First Glance Film Festival Los Angeles 2021 back in May) was that I was able to better speak and collaborate with my international colleagues since it did not involve international travel. So, that 30

  26. has definitely been a plus. During this time, Dig IN Magazine was able to cultivate partnerships with film festivals in Paris and London. Where do you see your organization in the years to come? We hope to get deeper into the organizing side of the film festivals that we've worked with and continue to grow our team at Dig IN Magazine with more writers, videographers, video correspondents, as well as expand our platform so we can host virtual and possibly some in-person events where we can bring in our friends, collaborators and business sponsors. For IN Close Entertainment, we are in the development stage on some short films that we plan on shooting and producing upcoming. Further, we look forward to continuing to work and collaborate on film projects with other filmmakers here in the US and globally. Entrepreneurship is an art, what is your take on that? Being an entrepreneur and designing your own business is a creative art form. You must hone your original ideas and channel them into your work and everything that you develop. Staying original in business and life helps one stay relevant and on the cutting edge of innovation. 31
