6. disorder. What is suicide?  Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one’s own death. It is often committed out of a perceived overload of negative feelings like despair. Pressure or misfortune such as relationship issues or financial difficulties usually plays a significant role. It could also be a result of an untreated mental disorder such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
