On the Connections tab, select the correct ISP if you use Dial-up on the computer. If you don’t, select the Never Dial a Connection option. 7. Click OK. 8. Press the LAN Settings button. Then select automatically detect settings. 9. Check whether the Use a Proxy Server checkbox is empty.
Carefully document the complete address and port if Use a Proxy Server is selected. Do not clear the Use a Proxy Server checkbox if you see the port is other than port 80.
