A kid can definitely be committed to school and also have an extracurricular activity, and if the voicing is treated like any other extra activity, such as games, then I think it would be perfectly healthy, the only trick would be that you would absolutely need to keep them focused on school as well, and not put all of their hopes into being a voice artiste. If you see that your child has a potential and can speak fluently and expresses emotions, or has interest in dramatics, you should encourage him/her. May be enroll him/her her in a voice lessons because this will greatly enhance his/her skills. Your role as a parent is to guide and help develop his/her skills and potential.
