How to fix faulty VW AG 04L907805M Continental 5WK97235 NoxC3 sensor?

We have prepared a guide how to fix faulty Nitrogen Oxide sensor
Step 1: Let's begin fixing NOX sensor's malfunction.Remove faulty control unit from your VW vehicle.
Step 2: • Prepare tools: • Cutter • tape • soldering • other required tools
Step 3: • Get access to carry on with work . Pull down black protection rubber • Make sure it is tightly gripped. • Use tape, pegs etc.
Step 4: • Split cables using: • Sharp cutting tool • Knife • Scissors Please note, DO NOT cut all wires at the same location, cut them in different length for proper fix.
Step 5: This how you should end up, when old probe is splitted from the sensor.
Step 6: Use heat shrink tubes for proper fix. • Put tubes on each of the wire.
Step 7: Get a new NOX sensor probe from Xenons4U. • Gently wrap up connectors with old probe.
Please note,It is very very important to make sure each wire is wrapped up correctly.Otherwise sensor will NOT work properly and show up with fault codes. • Some common error codes • P229F • P229E • P2201
Step 8: Use soldering tools to metal each cable's connection for a long lasting fix.
Step 9: After soldering wires you should end up with the same results as in our picture
Step 10: Move heat shrink tubes on the soldered places. • Apply heater on wire. • Let them surround soldered places properly. Once done wait few minutes until it is cooled down
That's it! Your NOX sensor is now fixed and could be fitted back to your car.
Please note, it is very important to drive a car for around 100 KM/Miles to let car's ECU to get new values and reset the SCR system, afterwards fault code will disappear.
