  3. ABOUT UNIVERSITY The Kaziranga University Jorhat is a higher education institution situated in the North-East region of India. In fact, it is among the largest private universities. The university was established recently in 2012. Moreover, the state government of Assam established it under the Assam Private University Act of 2012. Foundationally, the university is promoted by The North Eastern Knowledge Foundation (NEKF) trust. Besides, the trust belongs to the Khetan Industrial Group.
