  3. ABOUT UNIVERSITY  Shri Govind Guru university established in 2015 is a fairly new university. Moreover, the university came into existence after the Government of Gujrat passed the act of Shri Govind Guru Unversity. Furthermore, the university presently has Jurisdiction over five districts in the state of Gujrat.  The districts namely are Panchmahals, Mahisagar, Dahod, Chhotaudepur, and Vadodara. Likewise, these districts have numerous tehsils some of which are Godhra, Sant Rampur, Fatepura, and Shinor among many others. The University has jurisdiction over these Tehsils. The University is in Godhratehsil at Dahod district.

HISTORY  It was the passing of the act in parliament by the government of Gujrat in Gujrat, which lead to the formation and establishment of the university.  The university was established on 28th September 2015. The act gave the university powers of the adjoining 5 districts.  The university since its establishment is on the spree to fulfill its vision and mission. Therefore it is constantly increasing the affiliations with colleges. Thus 143 colleges are presently are under its roof.
