2. Introduction BHU PET or Banaras Hindu University Post-graduation Entrance exam is conducted to provide admission in Banaras Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh. 3. BHU PET Eligibility Criteria Nationality Candidates who are Indian Nationals are eligible for this exam. Qualification •The minimum eligibility criteria for BHU PET 2021 is Bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks. AGE •There is no age limit for taking this test and one can apply for this test as many times as they wish. However, Candidates for BHU PET must be Indian National.

4. BHU PET SO EXAM SYLLABUS BHU PET SO EXAM PATTERN •M. Com: This test will include 120 MCQs for 360 marks. The time allotted for the exam is 120 minutes. This will be divided into 2 sections. Section A will consist of graduation level Accounting, Income Tax, Business Finance. Section B will consist of Business organization and management, Business law (with company law), Business Economics, Statistics and Monetary Theory and Banking •All M.A.: M.A tests will consist of 120 MCQs for 360 total marks. It will be based on topics studied at the graduation level of the concerned subject. The time allotted for each would be 120 minutes •All M.Sc.: It shall include 120 questions for a duration of 120 minutes. Total marks in 360. The MCQs shall be based on the graduation level of the same subject •MCA: This will be 120 minutes test, having 120 questions. The total marks would be 360. This will have questions based on Mathematical aptitude, Analytical and Logical Reasoning. Mathematical aptitude will include questions such as Logarithms, Matrices and Determinants, Progressions, Binomial expansions, Complex Arithmetic. And, Permutation and Combination, Equations, Functions and Relations, Basics of Calculus and Probability and Coordinate Geometry The syllabus for the BHU PET course would be based on the subjects related to it. For example, Statistics would have Mathis, Geophysics would have Physics and Mathematics. Similarly, Environmental Science would have questions related to Life science, Physics, Chemistry. Likewise, the test for the English course would have questions based on Idioms, Error spotting, spelling detection, synonyms/antonyms. The number of sections in BHU PET would vary based on the subject selected and have questions related to the course selected. BHU will decide the qualifying marks and furnish the merit list for selecting the candidates shortly after the declaration of the results. Counselling starts a few weeks after the result declaration.
