3. ABOUT UNIVERSITY Babu Banarasi Das University is a private university. It is situated in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Moreover, Akhilesh Das set up this university in 2010. 5. HISTORY Technically, the journey of the BBDU started in 2007. In fact, it was the time when Babu Banarasi Das Educational Society Group of Institution was established. Moreover, as the name suggests, the group and the university both honor the contribution of Babu Banarasi Das Ji in the Indian Freedom Struggle.
