The university has its location in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The University Grants Commission recognized the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Bihar.   5. HISTORY Earlier in 1996, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Bihar came into existence vide GOI, Ministry of HRD. The vision is to the creative, dynamic and competitive centre of excellence and quality in advanced knowledge, especially for the nation and of educationally, socially, economically marginalized people of the society. Moreover, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Bihar holds its excellence in learning, teachings, development and research across various fields. In addition, they educate the students through value-based education and set up centres to promote educational excellence. The labs are equipped with modern equipment which helps the students in an experimental way of learning. Wifi Campus: The campus has a free wifi connection for its students. Students can make use of the facility. Health Center: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Bihar has a health centre on the campus. The university provides basic medical help for the students, teaching and non-teaching staffs. A well-qualified doctor is always available in the health centre.

  10. INFRASTRUCTURE Hostel: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Bihar has separate hostels for both men and women on the campus. Also, the hostel has a well-equipped structure with all modern amenities. Further, the hostels are very secure as they have fully armed security guards, security systems etc. All the hostels are easily reachable with the classrooms, sports and academic areas. Also, the hostel has facilities such as 24 hours water supply, cupboards, study lamps, water supply, internet facilities etc. The college management has a right to expel students from the hostel in case of misbehaviour. Gym: The campus has more than fifteen workstations to do workouts. The gym has ultramodern facilities for the students.

Grounds for games such as Basketball Ground, Football ground, Cricket ground etc. are available. Moreover, indoor games such as Tennis Court, Carrom, Chess are also available. It is also called a recreational club on the campus. Auditorium: The university has two conference hall, one auditorium and one council hall on the campus. The auditorium has LCD projectors, whiteboards, screens etc with a seating capacity of 1100 people. The conference hall has a seating capacity of 250 people and the council hall has a seating capacity of 150 people. It provides an opportunity for the students to exhibit their talents. The name of the auditorium is Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium.

  12. ADMISSIONS Admissions in Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Bihar takes place only in online mode. Therefore, students have to seek the admission form on the college website. Also, students have to complete and fill the application form online to get admission. The admission is based on JEE and CAT scores. Also, for some courses students need to write entrance exams that are conducted by the university. However, the admission criteria are both merit-based as well as entrance-based depending on the courses. Besides, the eligibility for each course will be mentioned on the college website.
