  2. How Plastic Injection Molding Works? Injection molding works by melting beads of plastic, & forcing them into the empty space between two specially-formed plates, usually made of steel. Skilled machinists make these plates according to a design that an engineer usually supplies. Every thirty seconds, the machine opens, ejects a fresh, new plastic part, closes, & repeats the cycle. This process has profoundly changed the world in which we live.

  3. The Procedure Explained The scientific procedure used for the manufacture of plastic products by application of injection molding is quite simple. Your plastic is melted and taken inside a giant syringe. Then it is put inside the shaping mold of the appropriate shape according to the product being manufactured and cooled down for a sufficient requisite period of time till it attains the desired shape.

  4. Uses of Plastic injection molding Plastic injection molding is the most common and widely used method for mass manufacturing of plastic products all over the world for its convenience and ease of use. Plastic products made using this method include plastic chairs and tables, covers for electronic products and disposable spoons and knives, and other cutlery products as well, for commercial consumption.
