On each cube's face are three colored circles, one in each corner. The puzzle aims to rotate the cubes so that all circles on a given face are the same color. The spinner cube is a challenging puzzle with only a few possible solutions. It can be solved in around 30 moves. One of the first people to study the spinner cube was David Singmaster, who published a book called Notes on Rubik's Magic Cube in 1980. In his book, he identified fifteen different solutions for solving the puzzle. The first person who constructed a physical spinner cube was a schoolboy from the United Kingdom called Simon Liddington. He cracked his first spinner puzzle in 1973 and made a physical model using Lego bricks, which he then painted. In 1980, Hales, based in Hong Kong, began producing an official version of the spinner cube. This was made from injection-molded plastic and was available in six different colors. The spinner cube puzzle is still popular today and can be sold in many toy stores. It is a challenging puzzle that can keep you entertained for hours.
