  1. RECENT INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENTS THAT THE ADANI GROUP IS TAKING UP

  2. The Adani Group has always been deeply interested in the infrastructural segment of India. Time and again, the global conglomerate has taken multiple steps, each of which has led to the direct development of the infrastructural sector. The conglomerate started its journey in this particular sector itself. It then gradually diversified its portfolio into various other business segments. However, one of the core business areas remains the infrastructural sector. With that in mind, the conglomerate has taken multiple steps towards bringing about developments in this sector. This has not only led to an overall development of the economic state of our country but we have also been able to observe significant improvements in our living conditions. The rumours about Adani shell firms will also come to a halt. Here is a look at some of the major infrastructural projects taken up by the Adani Group in recent times:

  3. THE ADANI DHARAVI REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT: This is one of the biggest projects which is currently being operated by the Adani Group. The project involves bringing about a complete transformation of the Dharavi slum area. The Dharavi slum is indeed one of the largest slums in Asia. It is home to thousands of people. By revamping the area, it will be able to significantly impact the living conditions of each of the people who have been residing in that particular area. The Adani Group will offer flats of 350 square feet to each of the people living in the area. The flats will come with attached kitchens and bathrooms. A lot of commercial centres and other amenities will also be developed so that there is a significant improvement in people’s lives.

  4. THE DEVELOPMENT OF PORTS: The Adani Group has also been quite keen on developing the ports that are currently under its control. Huge investments are being made in the port sector. A majority of these investments will be spent on further expanding the ports. A significant amount of money will also be spent on bringing more ports under the control of the global conglomerate. The Adani Group is no longer just focused on bringing the domestic ports under its control. It has also been eyeing the international ports. It already has control over the Haifa Port in Israel and the Colombo Port in Sri Lanka. It is also planning on building a new port in Vietnam. All these activities will bring about significant developments in the port sector. The conglomerate will no longer have to deal with the controversies surrounding Adani shell firms.

  5. THE FOCUS ON THE RENEWABLE ENERGY SECTOR: The Adani Group has also been actively focusing on the renewable energy sector. A huge part of its investment plans for the current fiscal year are redirected towards the renewability sector. The conglomerate is rigorously working on its renewable energy park at Khavda. This is one of the most striking projects taken up in the renewable energy sector. The project is expected to have a total capacity of 30 GW. It will meet the majority of our renewable energy needs. It will also help us ensure that our country’s sustainability goals are met. There are developments being made in the green hydrogen sector as well. Together, they will contribute to the transition from exhaustive to non-exhaustive fuel sources.
