Adani Power Limited which is currently responsible for operating a power plant in the Yellur village of Kaup Taluk in the Udupi district has recently inaugurated a newly installed sanitary pads incineration device. This massive step was taken by Adani Power under the banner of Adani Foundation which is the CSR wing of the Adani Group. An investment worth INR 15 lakh was made on the installed sanitary pads incinerator. With the installation of the device, the spread of various deadly diseases will be reduced.

  3. The Installation of the Sanitary Pads Incinerator Device The sanitary pads incineration device was installed at the Padubidri village near the panchayat office on 18 September 2024. This marks a significant milestone towards achieving India’s cleanliness and personal hygiene goals. The sanitary pads incineration device was installed by Adani Power Limited under the Rural Infrastructure Development project. This is one of the major CSR projects taken up by the Adani Group. The device was installed as per the plan submitted by Padubidri Gram Panchayat during 2023–24.
