  2. Lower the Thermostat • Lower the thermostat of your tankless or standard water heater to save some energy and improve the life and functionality of it.

  3. Insulate Tank • Insulating the tank of your water heater will help it reduce heat loss. Make sure that you read the manufacturer’s instructions before you do that.
