  2. paid as per Government rules. Thereafter, one undergoes specific aircraft course sponsored by the airline. Presently, an AME qualified on a Boeing 737 or Airbus 320 gets about Rs. 2,00,000/- per month. He is also entitled to complimentary air tickets, medical and other benefits as per norms in most airlines. He leads a decent life, stays in top hotels, come across educated air travellers and enjoys the glamour of being in an airline technical staff. The aircraft is required to be maintained and certified by a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Both, Pilots and AME are required to have license from DGCA. During the course you are required to appear and pass AME Module examinations which are conducted by DGCA, Government of India.
