At ABWE we work to fulfill that call by connecting people’s passions, talents and gifts with the work of the Great Commission. The outcome? More than 1,000 missionaries serving in 60 countries around the world in the areas of evangelism and discipleship, church planting, education, social justice, Muslim ministries, healthcare, Bible translation, children’s ministries, sports, camps, and media, to name a few. Since ABWE was founded in 1927, we have come alongside local, Bible-believing churches to help them pick up the torch of missions and launch culturally appropriate local and global mission efforts—all with the intent of opening doors for the gospel and expressing the richness of God’s grace to all people.
