  1. Bitumen VG 10 eVG-10 Bitumen is the softest grade of viscosity bitumen. This grade of bitumen is mainly used for spraying applications and surface coating. VG-10 Bitumen is best for extremely cold weather. VG-10 is used to pave roads as well, but in extremely low temperature. The air temperature that matches this grade of bitumen is minus 100 degree celsius to 250 degree celsius. In areas with higher temperature, VG 10 Bitumen cannot be used as it does not provide desirable rutting resistanc. This type of bitumen is also used to manufacture bitumen emulsions and modified bitumen products especially in India. The price of VG 10 Bitumen in India currently is, Rs. 38570. The price may differ from each manufacturer of the VG 10 Bitumen and also, the supplier. Advantages of VG 10 Bitumen : 1. It is suitable for temperature below 30◦C 2. It has a higher Penetration Value in comparison to VG-30 and VG-40 3. It has better resistance to changes in temperature, particularly in cold regions 4.
