  1. Intravenous Solutions Therapy Is Used To Treat Conditions Such As Dehydration and Other Underlying Diseases by Directly Putting Fluids inside the Body Intravenous Solutions therapy is used in healthcare centers all across the globe, especially in regions such as U.S., Singapore, and Italy, among others. Intravenous solutions are a specific medical procedure that delivers medicines, liquids, and nutrients directly to an individual's bloodstream. The intravenous route of delivery is most commonly employed for rehydration, nutrition, or for patients who can't eat or drink by mouth due to a pre-existing condition. The practice is often viewed as a primary treatment method, especially in the treatment of such chronic conditions as diabetes, AIDS, cancer, and dehydration. There are two types of intravenous solutions, intravenous hydration, and intravenous vasoconstriction. While there are other methods of delivery that may be appropriate for the condition, these are the most common. Inpatient and outpatient dialysis services may require patients to undergo either complete or partial Intravenous Solutions therapy at some point in their treatment process. When complete, this delivery system consists of a bag-valve-mask device that is connected to a cannula, which is inserted into the arm or leg. The cannula is fitted with a piston that provides a steady stream of blood and oxygen to the affected area. The liquid medication or saline solution is then administered into the veins by manually pumping the tube. This solution is then stored in a special container before it is returned to the receiving area. The entire process can take as long as three hours, depending on the severity of the condition.
