  2. TOURISM IN HIMACHAL PRADESH Tourism means people traveling for fun and enjoyment. It includes activities such as sightseeing and camping on their trips. People who travel for fun are called "tourists". Places where many tourists stay are called "resorts".

  3. (1) Manali :- Manali is a beautiful and memorable place to visit in Himachal Pradesh. Manali is 360 km from the capital Shimla and 544 km from Delhi. This valley is called the “Valley of Gods”.Rohtang Pass is also a famous place near there.From Manali , there is a road to Lahaul and Spiti. In Winter,the temperature is between the -7°C to 15°C.
