  1. 4 Classic Movies Loved by Adults and Aren’t Animated! Spending time with your family doesn’t require grand plans and a full schedule. Sometimes, all you need is a good classic family movie and your favorite comfort food. Why knows? Maybe you and the kids will find this more enjoyable than going on a tiring road trip or to acrowded amusement park! Some classic family moviesfor kids and adults alike: There is a misconception that all kid-friendly movies are animated, but this is hardly the case. There are a number of live-action films with family-friendly themes and entertaining characters. Here are some classic family movies you can enjoy at any age: 1.The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm Did you grow up falling asleep to stories about vast kingdoms, elves, and fire- breathing dragons? If yes, thenyou will want to see The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm (1962), a fantasy film that centers around the stories written by the Grimm brothers. It’s a mix of fantasy and biography, following the siblings through the obstacles they face as they discover new fairy tales. With this classic family movie, adults will have fun looking back on the stories they treasured in their childhood, while kids can enjoy new tales and let their imagination run free. 2.General Spanky General Spanky (1936) takes a more lighthearted approach to the Civil War. The movie centers around a group of children forming their own army; The Royal Protection of Women and Children Regiment Club of the World and Mississippi River. Instead of firepower, the group uses humor to fight their battles, ultimately saving an adult friend from enemy troops. 3.Little Lord Fauntleroy Unlike most of the titles on this list, Little Lord Fauntleroy (1914) is a silent film. But that doesn’t mean the movie is any less interesting. In fact, the lack of sound may even encourage you to pay more attention. This family-friendly movie follows the grandson of an Earl and his somewhat rocky route to becoming the heir. It is based on a novel of the same name. 4.So Dear to My Heart Produced by the one and only Walt Disney, So Dear to My Heart (1948) is a fun-filled live-action film with hints of animation. It tells the story of a young country boy and the lessons he learns after adopting a troublesome pet.
