  1. Chrissy Teigen shared her miscarriage news; receives huge support from Fans Chrissy Teigen, who was pregnant with her singer husband John Legend, took to Instagram and shared the grief of losing their baby Jack halfway through the pregnancy. Teigen, who is very open about her personal life on social media, told her millions of followers that she and her husband were in a kind of pain that they had never felt before. They tried to give their baby all the amount of fluids needed, but the large quantities of blood transfusions weren't enough for its survival. She further stated that they had always named their children after they were born; however, there was something about this baby that they decided to name it when it was in the womb itself, and he would be a part of their family forever. She further apologized to her deceased son, stating that the first few moments of his life met with so many complications and that they couldn't give him the home he needed to survive. She thanked all her well-wishers and signed off by saying that she and her husband were grateful for the lives of their other two children, Luna and Miles and that they will get through this grief eventually through the support of each other. Miscarriages happen in around 1 in 4 pregnancies, with 85% happening in the first three months of pregnancy. It may be because of an underlying condition in the mother, which may include chromosome related problems, placental problems, obesity, smoking, recreational drug use, large quantities of caffeine use, and alcohol. Other known causes include infection, abnormalities of the uterus or cervix, diabetes, thyroid disease, and autoimmune diseases. Physical recovery from a miscarriage may take from a few days to a couple of weeks; a woman's period will return within four to eight weeks. The emotional recovery of women who have miscarried is likely to take longer. At such times, it is necessary to give yourself time to grieve, seek help and comfort from other women who have miscarried, and, most importantly, remember that their families and loved ones will always be there to get them through this challenging phase. We wish Chrissy Teigen a speedy recovery and all the strength to cope up with this loss.
