  1. Rigid Box Packaging Saves Money Rigid boxes, sometimes called hard case, cardboard boxes, or PVC boxes, are among the most widely used and desired boxes in the luxury shipping industry. Typically, rigid boxes are usually four to five inches thick and have more opening options than standard corrugated boxes and many more packing options than standard folding boxes. These characteristics make them ideal for many uses in shipping. They are also favored for their superior protection against damage and in general, for their security and strength. Rigid boxes, whether flatbed or stacked, are very strong and sturdy. Most manufacturers consider the Rigid box to be the optimum choice for transporting goods. Rigid boxes offer optimal protection against shock, vibration and impact. They can withstand a tremendous amount of weight, are more compact than folding boxes, and will not dent or become damaged even when placed under high-impact activities. Rigid box can easily be glued down to soft chipboard or other materials and are suitable for use with most forms of packaging. In addition to its strength and durability, another benefit to using a rigid box is that it is a simple packaging solution. Because the box has a solid, closed-cell structure, it provides the advantage of a one-piece packaging method, making it much easier to package and seal than other packaging methods such as foam trays. Because of this, packaging with a Rigid box may be preferred over foam trays for many applications including corrugating chipboards and foam inserts. The Rigid box, because of its closed cell construction, offers the advantages of superior protection from shock, vibration and impact, and it is the preferred packaging method for many different types of products. There are many distinct benefits to packaging using Rigid boxes, including increased product protection, reduced packaging waste and increased customer convenience. Rigid boxes offer several advantages over traditional packaging solutions such as boxes and foam trays. Some of these advantages include: * Increased product protection. With rigid boxes, the lid does not need to be removed to add the product to the package. This means there is no excess time involved in wrapping the product, reducing the required manpower and increasing product protection. This advantage is especially important when the wrapping time is relative to the shipping time from the manufacturers and is especially useful for high value and exotic products. * Improved convenience. Because the product is enclosed in a rigid box, there is no need to manually open the lid. The process is simple and takes seconds rather than minutes when using traditional packaging methods. The unique ability to completely lock the lid provides additional security against tampering or theft and allows for a higher level of security for goods that require locking or are sensitive or confidential. The increased convenience is particularly helpful for customers who need products quickly.

  2. * Enhanced product protection. Rigid boxes provide superior protection against moisture. This is especially important when the product packaging contains food and other perishable items. Standard packaging can easily warp or melt if too much moisture is allowed to accumulate and can damage the product inside the box, as well as the packaging materials. Most rigid boxes contain a special non-stick coating on the interior that ensures the products do not suffer from excess moisture and will not warp or fall apart. * Helps reduce costs. Rigid packaging provides a cost effective solution for most packaging requirements. Most traditional packaging methods can cost five times as much or more than rigid chipboard, due to the extra time and effort associated with creating custom packages. The additional time spent on creating a chipboard product can be replaced with just a few minutes of work, allowing you to move on to other projects. Rigid boxes also consume less labor when it comes to creating the design for the product, meaning your company can spend more of its budget on other areas.
