  1. What are the Causes of Acne Skin? medium.com/@sonakshi1922/what-are-the-causes-of-acne-skin-bda391b3b558 March 21, 2022 Below are some of the most common acne causes: Hormones: The most significant is the production of sexual hormones, called androgens, which start around puberty. This is the reason most acne sufferers are teenagers and adolescents. Hormones can also trigger breakouts of acne during menstruation and pregnancy. Sebaceous glands are stimulated by androgens, which create more sebum. As it travels to the surface, sebum comes in contact with the common skin bacteria and dead cells sucked from the follicle’s lining. Although this is normal, however, the presence of excess sebum in the follicle can increase the likelihood of clogging and acne. Stress can trigger hormone production, like cortisol, that may cause acne to become more severe. Stress brings about different hormone levels. When hormone levels change, the body triggers the oil glands in the skin to expand, releasing more oil that causes whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples. Heavy or oily makeup: heavy makeup can clog the pores, while oily makeups create more oil, and only adds to the issue when oily skin is already present. Cosmetics, particularly specific moisturizers, foundations, and pomades, contain petrolatum, lanolin vegetable oils, butyl-stearate as well as lauryl alcohol and oleic acid. Certain drugs and steroids: Vitamins are beneficial to your body, but excessive amounts of vitamin B1, B6, and B12 can trigger acne flare-ups. Vitamins B1 and B12 are beneficial for our skin. However, beware of the use of too much. 1/2

  2. Diet: For some individuals who are overweight, a diet heavy in refined carbohydrates and sugars could cause acne to worsen. Cleaning with harsh exfoliators can cause skin damage and can spread infections. Squeezing and picking: This could actually cause the infection to spread further into the skin and may cause scarring. Environmental irritants include pollution and high humidity. A high level of humidity causes the skin to swell. In addition to harming the skin, pollution is an enormous health risk. Family members with genetics are also sufferers of acne. Acne can be inherited, and the severe cases, known as are usually inherited through heredity. If you are suffering from a frequent breakout of acne it is recommended to 2/2
