We take pride in our Yarn Development Centres (YDC), which cater separately to cotton mélange yarns and synthetic yarns, on their ability to innovate on product offerings and undertake class-leading research continuously. We are assured by the fact that they comply with safety, regulatory and government standards. These centres are equipped with machines that facilitate a range of processes from Blowroom to Finishing, enabling quick preparation of samples of new yarn varieties
To ensure that our innovations and products are robust, we possess the equipment and capabilities to conduct all the required tests on fibre, yarn and process material at our YDCs. An additional dedicated development lab for mélange yarn is in the design phase and will be equipped with a complete miniature production process.
Cotton and Acrylic Blend Yarn: The extra-fine fibres of acrylic are spun and allow the fibres to shift lightly in the spun yarns for a more drape and a very soft feel and prevent loss of their yarn structure. • Cotton Mélanges Blended Yarns: The yarn produced by the blend/mix of cotton and other fibres provides unique yarns. Melangecolour is a colour effect obtained by mixing fibres in different colours before the blend. • Cotton / WoolBlends: The yarn produced by the blend/mix of the Cotton and wool fibres to provide unique yarns. A Wool/Cotton blend where Wool improves wrinkle resistance while cotton softens the yarn. • Cotton / Linen Blends: The yarn produced from a blend of linen and cotton provides handle and comfort properties in yarn. Linen is a longer staple category, and as such, the fibre is spun on a long-fibre spinning system. • Cotton Viscose Yarn: The yarn produced by the blend/mix of the Cotton and viscose fibres to provide unique characteristics of the yarn.
