MEP stands for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing, and these three aspects are closely linked to design, construction, and operation of any building project.   3. Mechanical Engineering There are multiple types of mechanical systems present in a building. Heating, air conditioning, and mechanical ventilation are the most prominent ones.
