Airtel 5G Launch Date In India – More On Trial, Speed and Updates So Far Gone are the days, when you had to depend only on Airtel dongles, and very soon Airtel 5G dongle will not be far from when we can make use of them as well. 5G network trial of Airtel in India is underway in a full-fledged manner. The telecom company has been testing the capacity of its network and how it performs so that it can be sure that the Airtel 5G services it is planning to extend are ready when the services are live.

  2. The company has been working in tandem with other corporate stalwarts like the TATA Group, Nokia, and Ericsson for the 5G network services. While Jio has declared that it will be the first to launch a full-fledged 5G service in the country, Airtel 5G does not want to stay behind. You can read more about it in the paragraphs that follow. Airtel 5G launch date in India There is no official date announcement for India’s 5G service launch in India. However, the DoT or Department of Telecommunication’s announcement officially is that it will happen this year in 2022 itself. The idea is to first introduce the service in as many as 13 cities that include Kolkata, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Delhi, Pune, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Chennai, Jamnagar, Hyderabad, Gandhi Nagar, and Ahmedabad, where Vi and Jio have completed their trials already to set up 5G sites. The services will be made available to the other regions of the country at a later stage. It may take up to one year or a year and a half for the cellular infrastructure to develop in India.
