  1. Vandana Luthra – The Founder of VLCC – An Inspiration to the Women of India Women in India have to face a lot of issues regarding inequality when it comes to opportunities for growth. There are restrictions and boundaries and certain social prejudices which hinder women from succeeding in various spheres of life and restrict them to stay stuck in marital attachments and duties.

In this time it is our duty to change our mentality and think ahead for the progress of our society as good can only come out of something when every individual is equally participating in the growth of their country. There are women who have proved themselves to be the epitome of success and growth and have inspired millions of other women and one such woman is Vandana Luthra who founded VLCC Early and Personal Life Vandana Luthra, founder of VLCC was born on 12th July 1956 in New Delhi to an engineer father and doctor mother. Her mother was a part of a charitable trust and serve the common and needy people. This is where she got the inspiration to help other people. She was a student of the Polytechnic College for women in Delhi following which she went to Europe for studies in beauty, wellness, skincare, and nutrition. In the year of 1988, she got married to the present chairman of VLCC, Mukesh Luthra. She has two daughters. Journey of VLCC (Success Story of Vandana Luthra) VLCC stands for Vandana Luthra Curls and Curves which is named after her. VLCC is one of the most successful beauty and wellness centers in India. Vandana Luthra founded VLCC in 1989 at the age of 30. The first VLCC center was opened in Safdargunj, New Delhi. It has come a long way from where it began and now VLCC has gained popularity both nationally as well as internationally in the beauty and wellness sector. Some of the services provided by VLCC are beauty and grooming, slimming, hair transplant, etc. VLCC has generated employment for more than 5000 individuals in 153 different cities and 13 different countries so far. The professionals include beauticians, medical professionals, nutrition experts, cosmetologists etc. VLCC also produces beauty products (skin, hair, body) for sale which are also exported outside India for revenue generation.
