  2. The Australian Computer Society (ACS) is the primary governing organization of information and communication technology in Australia. The ACS assesses potential migrant ICT professionals to ensure that they meet the assessing authority requirements for employment in Australia's chosen vocation. On the List of Qualified Skilled Occupations, the ACS has been designated as an appropriate Assessing Authority for ICT skills employment. Applicants will be able to choose between several evaluation pathways based on their educational background. This section will go through four different ACS assessment pathways (application types) that you can take based on the criteria.

Applicants will be able to choose between several evaluation pathways based on their educational background. This section will go through four different ACS assessment pathways (application types) that you can take based on the criteria.

  4. Temporary Graduate (TG) The temporary graduate (TG) application type is for applicants with a bachelor's degree or above from a well-known Australian university. On the other hand, this track is a qualification-only skill assessment and may be chosen exclusively by individuals seeking a subclass 485 visa.

  5. Suitability Criteria - The occupation identified in Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) category 485 is eligible for the Temporary Graduate path. -A Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in ICT is necessary for the selected position in Australia. -To obtain a visa, you must meet the Australian Study Requirement (ASR). ACS does not handle your ASR requirements. The Department of Home Affairs will carry it out.

  6. Post-Australian Study (PAS) This application procedure is for applicants who have completed their Australian Bachelor's degree or higher-level studies and want their abilities evaluated for migration purposes. Completion of an ACS Professional Year Program or other suitable work in the ICT area is required for post-Australian studies.

  7. Suitability Criteria - A bachelor's degree or higher education level with an ICT major in the chosen area is required in Australia. - One year of work experience is needed after finishing a suitable Australian degree or a Professional year program.

  8. Skills Assessment (Skills) This application process is used for postsecondary ICT degrees and general skill assessment employment.

  9. Suitability Criteria Qualifications equivalent to an AQF Bachelor's degree or higher with an ICT major - To meet the criterion, you must have two years of relevant work experience done within the last ten years or four years of related work experience completed at any time if your degree is in ICT and is directly related to your employment. - If you hold an ICT degree, but it is unrelated to your employment, you must have four years of work experience accomplished at any time to fulfill the criteria.

  10. Suitability Criteria Qualifications equivalent to an AQF Bachelor's degree or higher with an ICT minor - To qualify, you must have five years of related job experience accomplished within the previous ten years or six years of work experience completed at any time if your degree is an ICT minor and is directly connected to your employment. - Assume your degree is an ICT minor that has nothing to do with your job. To meet the criteria, you must have completed six years of related job experience at any time.

  11. Suitability Criteria Qualification equivalent to an AQF diploma or vendor certification - Assume your AQF degree or vendor certification is in ICT and is closely related to your job. To satisfy the criterion, you must have five years of related job experience done during the preceding ten years or six years of work experience accomplished at any time. - Assume your AQF degree or vendor certification is in ICT and not directly related to your job. To meet the requirement, you must have completed six years of related job experience at any point in time.

  12. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) The ACS RPL application pathway is for candidates who do not have any ICT qualifications, applicants who have insufficient ICT content, or candidates who do not have any ICT material at all.

  13. Suitability Criteria Qualifications other than ICT that are equal to an AQF Diploma or higher - To be eligible, you must have six years of work experience completed within the preceding year, as well as an RPL application if your degree is categorized as insufficient ICT with an equivalent AQF Diploma or above.
