  3. Safety Valves Safety valves open when the operating pressure is exceeded to prevent the pressure from rising beyond safe levels. Once the pressure is lowered to safe levels by releasing excess pressure, the valve closes back tightly and reliably.

  4. Bypass Valves Bypass valves are employed to open pressure lines in the direction of the suction line allowing the pump to start without pressure and switch to pressureless circulation.
