Rules for domestic travelers visiting Kerala: • Travellers from outside states are permitted to visit Kerala but must first register with the e Jagratha portal. • Domestic travellers, regardless of vaccination status, must take a SARS CoV - 2 RT PCR test either 48 hours before entering the state or immediately after entering the state. • Those who are undergoing an RTPCR test upon arrival will be placed in room isolation at their assigned lodgings until the RTPCR report is received.
If the RT PCR test is positive, the patient should seek medical help from a health facility. • If the RT PCR result is negative, the individual must adhere to stringent universal masking, safe distance, and hand hygiene while in Kerala. They must seek medical assistance quickly if they acquire symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, breathlessness, muscle discomfort, fatigability, anosmia, diarrhoea) during their stay in Kerala. • All travellers who do not have an RT-PCR negative certificate and do not want to undergo RT PCR upon arrival will be subjected to a 14-day home quarantine. Passengers arriving in Kannur will not be able to use this service.
