BASES DE DATOS • Es el conjunto de informaciones almacenadas en un soporte legible por ordenador y organizadas internamente por registros. • Son repositorios estructurados de datos de forma sistematizada donde se almacenan y se pueden recuperar de forma rápida. • Una biblioteca puede considerarse como una base de datos compuesta por documentos y textos impresos en papel e indexados para su consulta.

TIPOS DE BASES DE DATOS CARACTERÍSTICAS Las bases de datos se han convertido para las organizaciones en una herramienta de uso indispensable, pues permite almacenar un conjunto de datos pertenecientes a un mismo contexto, para así ofrecer un alto rango de soluciones al problema de almacenar datos.
