The lessons one learns and the experiences one earns prove to bevaluable assets for the rest of a student’sprofessional as well as personal life. One must undertake challenging tasks to grow as an individual. Drew Cheskin University of Miami tries to be an example of that. Drew Cheskin’s resume reflects his commitment to growing. He is pursuing B.S. Communications at the University of Miami. He works not only on his formal education but also on other activities that will help prepare him for the future. It is important to get involved in extracurricular activities to learn valuable skills. Drew Cheskin University of Miamihascollaborated in scriptwriting and acting for comedy sketches for the award-winning late-night comedy show UMTV’s Off The Wire. Such experiences not only provide valuable skills but also helped him understand how showsreally work. Students need to understand real-world skills no matter what their area of interest is. It makes them more valuable for future enterprises. To add value, one must allocate enough time to learn useful skills. Drew Cheskin University of Miami tries to develop expertise in the latest and most used tools, including Adobe Premiere, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, etc. Knowing the practical applications of these tools will assist him in his future career. Apart from learning skills and taking part in extracurricular activities, Drew Cheskin University of Miamiworks on other facets of life. That is giving back to society. Being a part of this world, it is everyone’s responsibility to undertake actions that make this world a better place. Drew Cheskin helped organize a major blood drive on campus to benefit Covid-19 patients and children suffering from cancer.
