But if you are not able to pass the CA Final exams, yet you scored above 60 marks in one or more papers, then you can use the exemption in those papers for the next three attempts. Another criteria for exemption is that you must have appeared in all the CA Final papers of the group(s). Your CA Final Result will show F-Ex when you are given an exemption, with # given against the papers for which exemption is allowed. If you received an exemption in the old course and then converted to the new course, your exemption will not be valid. CA Final Merit List ICAI releases the names of CA Final toppers with the CA Final Results. In the merit list, the top 50 students come in the list. ICAI’s verification of CA Final answer copies includes ● Cross-checking for unevaluated answers, ● Checking for error in the total marks on the cover page, ● Checking the marks given inside and on the front page are the same. Note: You should not expect revaluation of answer copies because ICAI does not permit it. In the inspection of answer copies, you can see your answer sheets to know how and what marks they awarded to you. Process of Verification/Inspection Application of Answer Copies Login to your ICAI dashboard. Click on the Apply Now button where the verification/inspection option is given. Select the CA Final subjects for which you want to fill the verification/inspection application. Write a handwritten application and attach its scanned copy. Check the details and make the payment (Rs. 100 for result verification and Rs. 500 for answer sheet inspection). Take a print of the receipt of the online payment transaction for future reference. If you have applied for the verification of marks, your new results will be out in 6-8 weeks.
