Leuprolide Acetate: A synthetic nonapeptide analog

Healthcare professionals use the drug Leuprolide Acetate, which is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist in treating advanced prostatic cancer. Leuprolide Acetate is a GnRH agonist that acts as an inhibitor of gonadotropin secretion. Animal studies indicate that following an initial stimulation, continuous administration of leuprolide acetate suppresses ovarian and testicular steroidogenesis. This medicine is present in single-dose vials in 11.25 mg to administer intramuscularly. Leuprolide Acetate injection is readily available from multiple generic medicine suppliers in India.
