It is not a favorite mode of transportation during an emergency period. Electric rickshaws are lighter in weight and thus, it would face difficulty to survive up with the larger weight vehicles. There might be a chance of the rickshaw getting upside down.

  6. DIS-ADVANTAGES OF E-RICKSHAW NO PROPER GUIDELINES SPACE CONSUMING In india, there are no rules and guidelines fixed for the functioning of battery operated electric vehicles. The drivers of e-rickshaws are not fully trained to drive the e-rickshaws. The current design of battery operated three wheelers or electric rickshaw is quite space consuming. This would lead to traffic jams.
