  6. Learning Methods for this Course We will use a combination of online learning techniques to make sure everyone can make the most out of our lessons.

  7. Synchronous Learning Asynchronous Learning Real time or live video classes Self-paced or time independent In this method, we will all log into a virtual classroom at a set date and time. We will interact with each other as I teach the lessons and you participate in the discussion. We will be using video conferencing and live chatting for this. In this method, you will do the work on your own time. You will be able to access pre- recorded videos, worksheets, assignments and reading materials. You are expected to follow deadlines and we will be able to check in with each other through email or during my consultation hours.

  8. Group Work Projects that will be completed by teams There will be two group projects for this class. We will use the necessary apps and platforms for group discussions and meetings, and you will be given enough time to complete each project. The instructions and materials will be sent out within the week.

  9. Class Requirements Live video sessions Official email address Home learning packets We will be holding our classes through the Zoom app. We will only use our school- provided email addresses. Present your school ID at the registrar to claim yours. Collaboration platforms Computer with web camera Headset or headphones with mic We will be using Slack and Canva for class and group activities. You will need a computer with a web camera to attend our classes. You will need a headset or headphones with a microphone for our live video sessions.
