Renewable Energy – Petrophysics Consultant & Training Who should attend? Future-oriented Energy Companies. Power Generation, Power Distribution, Utility and Oil & Gas managers charged with transforming their energy-related business to sustainably operations Government decision makers countries policy makers who need to comprehend alternatives Equity, Bankers & Energy Investors who require key facts, the latest changes and a well-informed understanding of today's complex energy market Renewable Energy University Departments * Renewable Energy staff who must be updated in order to keep up with the times and expand their business Scientists and technical staff working in Sustainable Energy * Energy producers distributors, retailers, and producers architects, planners or companies that install solar or Off-The Grid systems Large energy users - could your business be a beneficiary? Mr. and Ms. Interested General Public Bring your laptop loaded with MS Excel. Course slide example | Course Testimonials Renewable Energy is abundant and all in our surroundings. It's the energy storage and distribution that restrict the use of renewable energy. This forward-looking and continuously updated overview of Renewable Energy landscape, distills an overview of, and compares and contrasts the important Renewable Energy Sources using standardised metrics. For the various types: Solar, Wind, Hydro, Biomass, Geothermal, Wave, Tidal and Nuclear The total contribution of intermittency, technical setup, equationsand key information, pros and pros and cons, as well as future growth are examined. Each type is compared with LNG and diesel in order to better understand the issues that renewable energies pose. The course examines new and new technologies in the field of Energy Storage and covers Energy Density, the green hydrocarbon, gravity, pumped hydro, lithium ion and Redox flow batteries thermal, CAES flywheels, capacitors, and SMES, describing their advantages as well as their limitations and applications. The challenges of Grid integration are covered in specific detail, such as Intermittency, latency and frequency, as well as the inevitable future of(?) massive integration with the EV's. Global imperatives, climate change and future conservative scenarios are discussed. The course provides an engaging, thorough and fact-based overview of the ever-changing and ever-changing energy landscape that we live in today from an expert energy consultant who is a highly respected Instructor. The course will highlight the usual technological as well as social and financial choke points that hinder renewable energy development in both the developing and developed worlds. Projects are discussed in conventional financial terms, demonstrating how to prevent failure. The course also the key technologies needed to get past the present choke points. Renewable Energy Project Brainstorm. The goal in this program is to arm participants with the skills to be able to critique RE projects that are renewable, discover weaknesses, suggest solutions and evaluate a project in terms of ROI (return on investment) terms , as well as the more qualitative impact on the environment. The course is an ongoing debate every day that sees the class divided into two groups to discuss and design an individual RE project. The constant flow of
new information ensures that the course remains interesting and on the cutting edge, yet pragmatic and critically analyzed! Brainstorming merges the knowledge and experience of the participants together with the extensive database of facts of the course and subject the resultant ideas to an open debate. Each participant is asked to speak only one sentence that they believe is crucial for everyone to know about Renewable Energy as their own personal motivation. You'll Be able to Learn It is true that Renewable Energy is abundant. It is a fact that energy Density, Storage and Distribution restrict its utilization The technology at the heart of every important Renewable Energy type The natural setting in which every important Renewable Energy type of energy is well-suited Does this technology have the potential to address an issue that is causing friction or is it simply interesting science? The newest technologies that will drive Renewable Energy over the next five to 10 years Energy Storage The Green Hydrogen and the Hydrogen Fuel Cells. Hydr, gravity, air, battery materials, Capacitors Chemical, Isomers, Thermospheres, Isotopes and many other new storage technologies; their design and use Bad and good Renewable Energy projects - what they did to make them great, and why they were bad The role of government as well as private investments in Renewable Energy What is the reason? He has an Ph.D. in "Integrated Petrophysics" at the London's Imperial College, is an ex Amoco petrophysics consultant and has over 25 years of working experience, which includes 12 years as an instructor and director of PETROPHYSICS Pty LTD. He has conducted more than 50 in-depth reservoir studies, with a focus on the region's carbonate-rich Southeast Asian region and stacked reservoirs with low contrast being aware of the latest technologies through technical reading operations, taking short courses and giving lectures. Deakin's rigors are to assess and classify uncertainties in reserves, to guide companies to secure reserves through a combination of specific data acquisition, data hierarchy and also systematic integration. Following his PhD, Deakin wrote the first open Integrated Petrophysics course which has developed into an industry-standard course in mainstream petroleum physics. Deakin also wrote "Carbonates and Fracture Petrophysics: A Roadmap" as well as the highly efficient PetroDB-WEBcore-log-test connected database evaluation for reservoirs with complex structures. Deakin is a part of SPWLA with offices in Perth, Australia.
