  1. Coronavirus Disease: Special Guideline for Ambulance Services

India is a growing country but, most of the hospital use ambulance outsourcing. • The medical sector has a bright future as the outsourcing pattern proves to be helpful here for every industry. • The largest corporate houses want dedicated ambulances placed at the workplace to provide fast medical assistance and employees during an emergency. • Nowadays, expand overall healthcare businesses grow, managing their patients and giving excellent treatments.

  3. 1. Identification of possible cases • Here guidance will support returning services using COVID risk pathways which are based on transmission risks using the local and national data. The identification of different variants of matter across parts of the UK must be considered in this revision. • COVID-19 infection should be viewed in all cases of respiratory virus. • If patients meet the rear case definition criteria, they are to be listed as a possible case: • High temperature (of 37.8°C or higher) • New-onset continuous cough • A loss of or change in the common sense of taste or smell (anosmia)

  5. 3. Personal Protective Equipment • PPE guidance is for clinical concern situations and intended for use while in direct communication with patients or patient care areas. • The ambulance sector PPE for COVID-19 is categorized into 3 levels: • Level 1: • Standard infection control precautions • Level 2: • Disposable gloves • Disposable apron • Fluid resistant surgical mask • Level 3: • Disposable gloves • Fluid repellent coveralls/long sleeved apron/gown • FFP3 or powered respirator hood • Eye protection

  6. 4. Aerosol Generating Procedures (AGP) • Respiratory tract suctioning • Manual ventilation • Tracheal intubation and extubation • Tracheotomy or tracheostomy procedures (insertion or removal) • AGP is the list of medical ideas for COVID-19 that have been reported to be aerosol-generating and are compared with an increased prospect of respiratory transmission: • Bronchoscopy

  7. 5. Clinical Application • The recommended advice for possible COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms is for them to stay at home until they are great. Refer to stay-at-home help for more data. • These patients must not be followed with patients who are described as low-risk or approved as COVID-19 positive. • Considerations for cardiac arrests • Care of the deceased • All team and additional care workers must manage physical distancing of 2 meters where possible.
