  1. Advantage of flexibility in training

  2. Why Flexibility is Beneficial to Training?

  3. There are many ways in which flexibility can help with training. For starters, it has been known to drastically reduce injury. Being able to stretch your muscles further means you won’t risk pushing them suddenly past their limits.

  4. In the same way, it is also important to stretch before training. This will loosen up your body and allow it to ease into harsh movements.

  5. Additionally, flexibility can improve your overall performance. A more obvious example of this would be Poomsae. Your ability to perform the movements and flows properly is a mix of technique and flexibility.

  6. This can also be true for sparring, you’ll be able to react quicker, reach further, and execute harder movements if you are flexible.

  7. Lastly, flexibility has been known to increase blood flow. This may seem small, but it helps to reduce stress which is always a HUGE plus.
