  2. Introduction The ARCH College of Design and Business organizes the All India Entrance Exam for Design. It is an entrance exam for design courses. Launched in 2010, exams are conducted for both undergraduate and postgraduate Design courses. Initially an offline exam, it was converted to the online mode in 2011. The interactive components of the exams make it an interesting mode to test the designing capabilities of the aspiring candidates. Located in Jaipur, Rajasthan the All India Entrance Exam for Design aims to measure the candidate’s skills in 3 categories: Attitude, communication skills, and situational thinking. The ARCH College of Design and Business organizes the exams.

AIEED Eligibility Criteria Undergraduate eligibility criteria: AIEED Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs • The candidate should have cleared the 10th and 12th exams from a recognized Board. Candidates appearing for the 12th exam can also apply. • They should be at least 16 years of age. The Pearson-Excel norms state that students should be a minimum age of 16 to apply. Candidates who have a valid NATA score need not take the AIEED exam. They can directly proceed to the interview. • Students studying in Class 11 can also appear for the AIEED 2021. They can enroll directly for the next academic session provided they qualify for the portfolio and interview rounds. • Candidates should score a minimum of 48% in the written exam. • For the international course, students should clear the PTE exam in a year from the commencement of the course before they leave for the U.K Postgraduate eligibility criteria: AIEED Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Programs • The Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized University. • Aspirants in the final year examination in any stream are can also apply. • Candidates should be a minimum of 19 years of age to be eligible to apply. • Students who have completed diploma courses in Design are also eligible for the Postgraduate course.

AIEED Exam Syllabus The syllabus of AIEED CAT is as follows: Design sensibilities, Logical reasoning, Design awareness, Global awareness, Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Visual Ability, Lateral Thinking, Basic Mechanical reasoning, Indian Art and Culture. AIEED Exam Pattern Stage 1 – General Aptitude Test (GAT) Mode: Online Choice of any one Time Slot 10:00 am to 12:00 pm 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm The syllabus of AIEED GAT is as follows: Articulation skills, written and visual, Design thinking, Design principles, Lateral solving. Stage II – Creative Aptitude Test (CAT) Mode: Online Choice of any one Time Slot 10:00 am to 1:00 pm 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm thinking, Creative problem The AIEED Video, Portfolio, and Personal Interaction are analyzed on the basis on the following category: Composure, Articulation skills, Portfolio range, Focus and clarity, Thinking depth

  5. AIEED Admit Card The AIEED Admit card of 2021 will be issued at the official website at https://www.aieed.com/. The Arch College of Design and Business issues the admit card online. The candidate will have to provide the login credentials like registration id and password to download the admit card. The candidate will need the admit card to enter the exam center. The admit card is a mandatory document to enter the examination premises. If the AIEED exam is in online mode, the candidate will have to use the login ID and password at the time of the exam.

AIEED Result The ARCH Academy of Design oversees the All India Entrance Examination for Design(AIEED) with the purpose of selecting candidates for undergraduate and Post-Graduate programs in the field of Design. The exam is conducted online. AIEED exam is held in three phases. Candidates will be able to check or access their results by entering their username and password which are generated during the application process The selection of the candidates will be determined by considering the scores of all three stages. The results will be announced 5 days after the entire selection process is over. Students can check website www.aieed.com the results on the official

Candidates can register themselves by entering the following details: • Candidate’s full name. • Valid email address. • Mobile number. • Location. • Course. • Current qualifications. Exam Details: • Once candidates submit the application form, candidates will have to fill in the course and exam details • Choose the program you desire to enroll in • Select the date at which you want to take the General Ability Test (GAT) • Choose the time and date slot for the GAT exam

  9. Important FAQ Q1. What is the use of AIEED? Ans. AIEED analyses the creativity, design skills, and sensitivity of students looking to pursue a career in the fields of design. It also tests the general awareness level, logical reasoning & crisis- handling aptitude of the student. Q2. Does AIEED deduct marks for wrong answers? Ans. The AIEED exam consists of 3 stages: General Aptitude Test(GAT), Creative Aptitude Test(CAT), and the Portfolio, personal interaction section. None of these sections have negative markings. Q3. How to prepare for the AIEED Exam? Ans. Go through the syllabus and take as many mock tests as possible. Be aware of the current happenings and go through all the topics in the syllabus. Read books written by authors of the relevant topics. Q4. Are scholarships provided to students? Ans. AIEED-SAT is a scholarship test conducted for awarding scholarships to deserving students based on their merit. AIEED Performance, performance in the previous examination for UG, and Graduation for PG Course are considered. Children of Defence Personnel, Artisans Children, children of single mothers, Children of a backward society are also provided scholarships. Scholarships are provided on a first-come first-served basis. It will be awarded to the next student on the waiting list if the scholarship is not claimed on time.
