This medication is given to patients diagnosed with castrate-resistant prostate cancer. It helps in managing tumors that don’t respond to hormone therapies. The known negative effects of enzalutamide tablets include back pain, fatigue, and constipation. Pharmacodynamics Enzalu, comprising Enzalutamide, is a competitive androgen receptor inhibitor. It affects multiple stages of the signaling pathway. It works to inhibit androgen receptor nuclear translocation and interaction with DNA. This compound decreases proliferation and induced cell death of prostate cancer cells in vitro, and decreases tumor volume. Usage Of Medicine Enzalu 40 mg capsule is a prescription medicine. It is used in the treatment of Prostate Cancer in men. It is not known whether Enzalu tablet is safe for use in women or not. This medicine is available in the form of tablets for oral administration. Its available strength is 40 mg. Enzalu (Enzalutamide) tablet should not be cut, chewed, or crushed. It should be swallowed as a whole with water, as per the instructions by the healthcare provider.
