  1. What Is Stem Cell Treatment?

  2. The human body is continuously manufacturing stem cells in the bone marrow. Built on certain conditions and signals in the body, stem cells are focused to where they are needed. • A stem cell is an undeveloped, basic cell that has not yet developed to become a focused cell, say, a skin cell or a muscle cell or a nerve cell. There are diverse types of stem cells that the body can use for unlike purposes. • There is indication that stem cell treatments work by activating damaged tissues in the body to restore themselves. This is often denoted to as “regenerative” therapy. • However, research into stem cell treatment for OA of the knee is slightly limited, and the results of studies are mixed. • The Pakistan College of Rheumatology and the Arthritis Foundation (PCR/AF) do not currently endorse stem cell treatment for OA of the knee, for the following reasons: • There is a standard procedure for preparing the injection. • There is evidence to prove that it works or is safe. • Currently, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) considers stem cell treatment “tentative”. Until additional studies can demonstrate a clearer benefit from stem cell injections, people who opt for this treatment must understand that the treatment may not work Stem cell

  3. The cartilage covering the tops of the bones enables the bones to soaring smoothly against one another with only slight friction. OA roots damage to the cartilage and leads to increased friction — resultant in pain, inflammation, and ultimately, a loss of mobility and function. • In theory, stem cell therapy uses the body’s own therapeutic mechanisms to help repair and slow the weakening of body tissues, such as cartilage. • Stem cell therapy for knees aims to: • slow & repair damaged cartilage • decrease inflammation & reduce pain • possibly interruption or prevent the need for knee auxiliary surgery • In simple terms, treatment involves: • taking a minor amount of blood, usually from the arm • concentrating the stem cells organized • vaccinating the stem cells back into the knee Stem Cell Injections for Knees

  4. Stem cell treatment for knees is non-invasive, & studies suggest that side effects are negligeable. After the procedure, some people may practice temporary increased pain & swelling. However, the overwhelming mainstream of people who get stem cell injections have no opposing side effects. • The process uses stem cells that come from your own body. In theory, this intensely reduces the risk of any serious side effects. However, there are various ways of collecting & processing the stem cells, which likely affects the various success rates of the available studies. • Before getting any treatment, it’s best to: • learn as much as you can about the procedure & how it the whole thing • ask your doctor for guidance Side Effects & Risks

  5. Despite contradictory evidence about whether stem cell injections work, many clinics offer them as an option for the treatment of arthritic knee pain. • Since stem cell handling for arthritic knee pain is still well-thought-out “tentative” by the FDA, the treatment is yet consistent & there is no limit to what doctors and clinics can charge. • The cost might be several thousands of dollars per knee & most insurance companies do not cover the treatment. • Research for Stem Cell Therapy in Pakistan For Treatment of Osteoarthritic Knee Pain is ongoing.   • The Stem Cell Therapy at London Aesthetics is a popular treatment for the reason that you get fantastic results without any side effects. • To find out more book an appointment today and visit London Aesthetics and Rejuvenation Centre in Lahore/Faisalabad forthe best Stem Cell Therapy in Pakistan.
