Importance of Education Description Swami vivekananda said," Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man." It enhances the character and develops mental ability, self confidence, self reliance and intelligence of person. No words can describe the importance of education in the modern world which is highly competitive.
In today's era, where everything is becoming digital, new avenues are being explored to reach students, no matter in how remote area they reside. The internet and television channels solely dedicated to education being such options. Right to education is a fundamental right under article 21-A which provides for free and compulsory education to all children in the age group of 6 to 14 years. But is the education given in school really offering students chance for development of critical thinking and mental ability. In the rush to finish off the syllabus the schools have been functioning on the old method of rote learning. The private tuitions and coaching centres become a necessary option for a learner who want to to develop these qualities. The one-on-one learning option offers individual a chance to learn and understand things at their speed. In private tuitions, the learner sets the pace and course best suited to him.
