Move to your desktop and create a new folder. • Name it as QBTest. • Navigate to the folder containing the company file. • With the folder, search for the .tlg file. • Then, copy the .tlg file and paste it to the new folder you created. • After that, open the QuickBooks Auto Data Recovery folder. • This time copy the .QBW.adr file and paste it to the new folder. • Go to the QBTest folder, and right-click on the .QBW.adr file and choose Rename. • Now, open QuickBooks and open the company file saved on the new QBTest folder. • Verify the transactions and click on the File menu. • Choose Utilities and then Verify Data to check the data integrity of the recovered file. • If this company file is fine, copy the file to the original location and move the damaged company file to a different location. • Step 2. Using the ADR version of the .QBW.adr and .TLG.adr file
