Online 05 days Faculty Development Program on “Recent Trends & Innovation in Electronics Engineering” from 04th-08th Aug 2020. Department of Electronics & Communication has organized Online 05 days Faculty Development Program on “Recent Trends & Innovation in Electronics Engineering” from 04th-08th Aug 2020. Eminent speakers of International & National repute interacted with the audience and shared their knowledge and experience. Some of the eminent resource persons were Mr. Damodar Sahu, Wipro Limited, USA, Mr. Raja Dwibhashyam, California, USA, Dr. Vijyendra Karpatne, California, USA, Ms. Akshi Sharma, Product Manager, Trapean Group, Canada, Dr. Udai P Singh, Professor and Dean Research KIIT, Bhubaneshwar, Dr. Shamla Mantri, Asso. Prof. (ECE) Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace Uni, Pune. The topics covered varied from Machine Learning & Engineering trends in Information Technology, Cloud services and IT organizations, Technologies in near future. Artificial Intelligence, The FDP was telecasted live on YouTube. A total of 1100 plus candidates registered for the FDP from 12 countries around the globe and 21 states in India. This FDP was open for the Faculty members of UGC / AICTE recognized Universities and Engineering colleges all over India & the world in general, Research scholars and Industry personals. On this occasion the Deputy Director Dr Sanjay Pachauri and HOD ECE Dr Seema Nayak complimented the participants and the speakers for their association for full 5 days and appreciated them for their inclination to learn new technologies. The organizers also expressed their regards towards Mr. Mayank Agarwal, MD of IIMT Group for supporting this event with all the resources that were needed. Candidates who attended this FDP expressed that this FDP really turned out to be a boon for them the way all the speakers shared their knowledge. Guest lecture on the topic of Industry Based Applications and Latest Trends on 15t h September, 2020 Department of Electronics & Communication has organized Online Guest lecture on the topic of Industry Based Applications and Latest Trends by Mr. Akhilesh Kumar, Assistant Manager, Application Engineer, Design Tech Systems Pvt. Ltd. (India) on 15th Sep, 2020 on the occasion of Engineers Day. He is an expert over *MATALB, Simulink, Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Code Generation, Hardware Interfacing, Model-Based Design, Data Analysis and Data Analytics. He discussed the new era of applications in signal processing that are DSP applications include audio and speech processing, sonar, radar and other sensor array processing, data compression, video coding, audio coding, image compression, signal processing for telecommunications, control systems etc.
ORIENTATION PROGRAM for newcomers for session 2020 - 21 Department of Electronics & Communication has organized ORIENTATION program for newcomers for session 2020 – 21. Session was led by Prof (Dr.) Seema Nayak (Hod). Students were briefed about the mission vision of department. All the research facility available were discussed. Students were also briefed about latest industrial requirements and how department will help them reach their goals “ELECTROMA IDEATHON 2020”, 28t hSeptember, 2020 Department of Electronics & Communication has organized minor activity “ELECTROMA IDEATHON 2020” on 28th Sep 2020. In this event students have to present novel idea with PPT presentation. In this event 11 teams participated with very enthusiasm, that were related to Smart Glass Technology, Home Security System ,Fire safety system and very novel and pandemic issue in the world which is COVID- 19.Students present a novel idea related to real time Human Immunity detection and non-contact Billing and Automated Trolley Technology. Three Teams are selected as a winner and all the participants of this team will receive the e- certificates. The winner Teams are: 1. Anshrah Niyaz and Aparna Kumari (ECE IV Year) 2. Ruchi and Vaishnavi Gupta (ECE III Year) Guest lecture on the topic of Impact of Electronics & Communication Technologies On Engineering 30t hSeptember, 2020 Department of Electronics & Communication has organized Guest lecture on the topic of Impact of Electronics & Communication Technologies on Engineering by Mr. Nitin Srivastva, Data Scientist, 13 Infosoft Noida on 30th Sep 2020.It was attended by more than 50 students of ECE department. The lecture was particularly useful for the students those wants to make career in embedded system, Data Science, AI and ML. The speaker shared the knowledge on building model using Machine learning algorithm & also discussed home automation example related with IOT.
