Flight booking system - That gives access to multiple GDS and Suppliers A flight booking system is an online tool used by many travel agents (both IATA & Non-IATA agents) to provide a simple reservation of flights for their clients and partner travel agents. The system is integrated with the most well-known GDS systems worldwide and allows its customers (B2B and B2C) to access real-time inventory and the best price. It also supports various currencies as well as multiple payment gateways. The system for airline reservations allows for uploading self-contracted inventory lists provided by the flight providers of the agency by using the software. It also includes an easy feature called XML Out, using which travel partners can share their inventory. The interface that users use to access the system is very similar to an E-Commerce site which allows the user to select the airline they want to travel with and begin making a booking process. Not just that, once the tickets are booked, the e-tickets can be downloaded. Global Distribution System(GDS) Global Distribution Systems are server-hosted websites that offer discounts on the purchase of travel items like hotels, flights transfer services, holiday packages, and transfers across the globe. The GDS system is based on the search that allows users to search for travel items from companies worldwide and then provide real-time prices and availability estimates. Then, users can make reservations and process the travel packages that meet their needs. GDS systems have changed through time, from processing only flight reservations to processing reservations for hotels, cars, etc. However, GDS systems are the foundation of online travel software.
