  1. How You Can Fix The Overheating Issues in Window 11 with McAfee? Sometimes, customer faces the issue of overheating when upgrading to Window 11. To avoid the issue of overheating, the user should install McAfee in their device via www.mcafee.com/activate. In this blog, you will read the procedure to fix Overheating issues. Procedure To Fix Overheating Issues in Window 11: 1. Restart Windows 11 PC: You should go to the desktop and then press Alt + F4 key together to launch the Shut Down Windows box. After this, tap on the dropdown menu and then choose Restart option from the list. At last, tap on OK button to restart the computer. 2. Update Graphics Driver: The user should tap on Windows + S altogether to launch the Search menu. After this, input Device Manager in the text field which is located at the top and then hit on the relevant search result. Here, you should launch Device Manager. Now, double-tap on the Display adapters entry. At this point, you should right-tap on the graphics adapter

  2. and then choose Update driver from the context menu. At the end, choose the option of Search automatically for drivers in the Update Drivers window and just install it. 3. Update Windows 11: To update Window 11, you need to tap on Windows + I together to launch the Settings app. Now, you should choose Windows Update from the list of tabs which is in the navigation pane on the left side of the screen. Here, you should tap on Windows Update which is on the right side. At this point, you should hit on Check for updates to scan for newer versions. At the end, you should download and install the updates. 4. Disable Startup Apps: To disable startup apps, you should tap on Ctrl + Shift + Esc key altogether to launch Task Manager. After this, you should go to the Startup tab to view application which loads when you boot Windows. At this point, you should choose the individual application to remove and then hit on Disable option. Or, the users can right-hit on it and then choose Disable option from the context menu. At last, you can remove the other apps. 5. Terminate Apps and Processes: For this, you should tap on Ctrl + Shift + Esc key altogether to launch Task Manager. Then in the Performance tab, you should scroll through the list of programs and just identify the apps which are interfering in the system resources. Now, you should choose the one which you wish to terminate and then tap on End task button. Keep in mind the user can disable other apps and processes which are listed there. 7. Disable Apps from Running in Background: The customer should hit on Windows + I key in order to launch the Settings app. After this, you should choose the Apps tab from the navigation pane which is located on the left side. Here, you should tap on Installed apps which is on the right side. Now, you should find the app which you don’t want running in the background and then tap on the ellipsis next to it. Next, you should choose Advanced options from the menu. Just scroll down to Background app permissions and then tap on the menu just under Let this app run in the background. At this point, you should choose Never option from the list. At last, disable other apps from running in the background. The user can also fix this issue by scanning their device with McAfee antivirus through www.mcafee.com/activate.
